Queen Elizabeth II says no paparazzi
Queen Elizabeth II has used her lawyers to warn the national press that photos of the royal family that have been taken intrusively will not be tolerated. It is thought that legal action will be taken on the basis of harassment. The royal family say they have a right to everyday privacy and reminded the press about their code of practice.
Like most famous people, the royal family get pursued by the paparazzi, and photos of them can fetch high sums, because of this freelance photographers spent hours on end trying to capture photos of the royal family. It is thought by some that Diana, Princess of Wales, was effectively killed by paparazzi ten years ago. In 2007, Prince William, spoke of his concerned of photographers while he was in a relationship with Kate Middleton.
No doubt, that photographers will be closely monitored around public areas close to Sandringham estate, Norfolk, during this festive season.
