If the Bank Can’t Keep to Appointments

I found a savings product that I am interested in and so I go into the bank to book an appointment about 3 hours from the present time. I go out of the Santander bank branch to have my lunch at PizzaHut, and come back about ten minutes prior to my book appointment and ‘check in’ at the reception desk and then consequently get ask to wait.
As I wait in the sitting area, I observe how the branch staff operates. I could see that the receptionist chatting away at a customer about their holiday preference, this is ok under other circumstances were no other person in the queue. Ten minutes go by and I see who the queue is growing longer and longer, witnessing how the other customers are getting agitated but being all calm about the business unrelated conversation that’s holding everything up.
Anyway,50 minutes go by and I am not being serve so I decided to take my money elsewhere.
After the banking crisis, what choices do I really have, I really hope the UK decides to follow President Obama’s example by breaking up the banks, as this will allow us consumers more choices on whom to bank with. Santander, the Spanish banking giant has swallowed up a good
Chunk on the UK banning sector and in the last round the HSBC group gobbled up a few banks. What happened to the monopoly and merger’s commission or the competition commission, they should have blocked most of the mergers.
Stop Automatic Data Connection on a Windows Mobile
Have you ever notices how the twin arrows on you Windows mobile comes on for no apparent reason know to you, and costing you money?
It may well be triggered by that weather program that gives you live forecasts and was used a lot when you first got your personal digital assistant (PDA) /xda. If like me you have the use of your existing Wi-Fi connection at home or at work that you can use at no extra costs to you, but find that when the Wi-Fi connection is dropped your GPRS or another costly connection source is automatically used and that’s unbeknown to you until you check your bill.
Well, the solution is to install the No Data Utility on your PDA, and you can disable all data connections, but you must (I think!) have the program running in the background (maybe not but I don’t want to risk more of my lunch money on testing). Email me for further details!

A simply way of making some good hard cash
About a month ago, I stumbled upon a way of making money online, and it very simple to do. It takes up to 20mins of your time, and if you have an internet connection you can do this one anywhere (even at work!).
All you need is to have an opinion about a product or service that a company has on offer or plans to offer if they research (your opinion) signals the go ahead.
I found that companies spend billions each year to carry out market research. One of methods of doing market research, is carrying out surveys. Now I remember that most times I am at my shopping town centre, I get targeted by street surveyors. I often wondered what these surveyors get for standing out in the cold, when they mostly look well dressed. Then it all clicked, they get commissions on each completed survey, and the member of the public that gave their valuable time and importantly, their opinion, gets nothing in return, except maybe a warm thank you from the person holding another completed survey. I am not sure if they (the surveyors) get basic salary plus the commission, but if you say that they get a fiver for 20 minutes work, doing the maths, that’s £15 an hour, which is not bad for just talking to people.
How do you get the reward for your opinion? I hear you ask! We will get to that, shortly!
I was very sceptical about this myself, but with huge credit card bills, a heavy 5 digit negative bank balance, i thought, lets give it ago. After all, all I could lose is time i would otherwise use to: a) make my boss even richer by working harder or b) when I am playing online poker (not with real dosh of course!).

I guess that because I have given this infor for free, it probably be on your to-do list for tomorrow, and will never get done, but trust me it does pay and if you get to be ‘good at it’ then you could make hundreds. Once you have started it really is up to you how much you want in you bank account, more time equals more money. If, like me, you get hooked after you complete your first survey, then you too have found something that you enjoy to do, and get paid at the same time, which is not bad at all!
