May Day ~A Pinch and a Punch for the First Day of the Month
It’s the first day of May, its May Day! May usually marks the starts when the weather changes, gets warmer, the outdoors plants start coming out of the ‘hibernation’.
It also means that there is a bank holiday around the corner. May day has it originals spanning back from the Romans. The Romans celebrated it as the flora festival between the 28th of April and the 3rd May of each year, and worshipped the goddess of flowers and fruit.

Baby Shower Party Part I
We have been invited to a baby shower by some friends of ours for their new arrival, a baby daughter which will take place tomorrow.
In some cultures, I think that only women are invited to these events only.Though the invitation was a bit last minute, we managed to get couple of clothing items as presents and a card. Last minute because I guess so that it falls on a bank holiday, and would be convenient (work-wise) for most of the people invited.
