National Minimum Wage UK
From the 1st October 2009, the three levels of the UK national minimum wage will increase. The three levels are seperated by two factors being age and experience related (a development position or not).
- £5.80 per hour for workers aged 22 years and older
- £4.83 per hour for workers aged 18-21 inclusive (development rate positions)
- £3.57 per hour for all workers under the age of 18, who are no longer of compulsory school age
