New Year New Healthy Diet

One of my new year’s resolution was to control my diet, and here is what I have done:
firstly I have cut out chicken and other red meats from my diet in fact I have become a vegetarian that eats eggs. well, it would have been very difficult to stop myself from eating egg from now and again. what I have done is to reduce what I eat in the mornings to just a good quality cereal and a cup of tea without sugar but with milk. believe me this is a hell of a reduction as I eating a full fry up style breakfast with tons of delicious calories.
what I have found is that I don’t get bloated any more, and feel more able to do exercise without feeling lazy about it and leaving it until whenever. while I have other people in my house that eat what I am avoiding, I now don’t feel tempted to break my new eating habit or regime. at the start, I used to tell myself that it only beneficial taste wise and only for the moment that it is on your tongue, but now I feel proud that I am eating healthily.
eating meats take longer to digest and therefore takes your body longer to process, and this is probably the cause of bloating that I had been experiencing in the past.
It has been a week now since I have started this course of personally improving myself and I initially planned to carry it out for 30 days but I can see myself going for a lot longer, but who knows, it might not last longer that another week.

Naturally Cure Flatulence

Flatulence, farting or whatever you want to call it, is a natural thing, but how to avoid it, when at parties or a gathering.

One natural cure is to drink fennel tea, which is really easy to make, here’s how:

Recipe:

A teaspoon of fennel seeds;

A teaspoon of sugar to taste (optional);

A teabag or 3-4 teaspoons of tea leaves.

For a cup, add freshly crushed fennel seeds and a teabag or 3-4 tea leaves to 230ml of water with a teaspoon of sugar and bring to a boil.

Once boiled, turn off heat and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes, after which you add some milk, and your cup of fennel time is ready to serve.

New Blindness Treatment for Macular Degeneration

Surgeons in Britain are pioneering a new technique that uses radiation beams as wide as a pinpoint to kill off abnormal blood vessels found at the back of eyes of those with blindness caused by macular degeneration. This technique will come as good new to patients who currently have to monthly injections which cost £800 a time. The new procedure is estimated to cost £6000, and should be cost effective after 7 months. Early signs are that the radiation does not harm other healthy cells in the eye as the radiation probe would point specifically to the area of damage.
